Will My Sliding Genioplasty Change Position If The Hardware Is Removed?
Q: Dr. Eppley, With hardware removal, will the chin-bone remain in the same Location? In other words, would the chin implant purely add additional Volume to my X-ray? Or would there be some give and take?
A: The chin bone is well healed at this point and the hardware now is not needed. Meaning the chin bone is not going to relapse any amount if it is removed.
