A: Custom facial implants can be made of either solid silicone, Medpor, PEEK, or titanium. It is the patient’s choice. With each material choice comes different costs, lengths of the incision and whether it can be placed as a one piece or multi-segment implant. Most patients choose silicone because of its superior handling properties and lower cost.
