What Can Be Done For My Scaphocephalic Head Shape As An Adult?

Q: Dr. Eppley, Hello there, I’ve been looking for someone that could offer skull reshaping surgery for years and have just discovered you! I suffer from scaphocephaly, its bothered me for years to the point where, now at 28 years old, I need to do something about it. I understand I probably wouldn’t achieve a normal head shape, but anything to improve the overall look would make such a difference to my self esteem.

How much would this cost roughly?

A: Thank you for your inquiry and sending your pictures. In the scaphocephalic skull it is long from front to back and narrow on the sides. With your hair and the angle of these pictures all I can appreciate is the narrow forehead/temporal areas outside of the hair zone in the front. Please tell me what would be the significant part of it to change from your standpoint so I can devise a skull reshaping surgery to do so. Once I know exactly what needs to be done then my assistant can pass along the cost of the surgery to you.
