A: Essentially, you are asking how to mix and match midface and lower facial rejuvenation procedures. Besides the fact that they could be done together, your question is based on how you would stage them if done separately. I don’t think the order is that important as one or the other could be done first without adversely affecting the results of the prior procedure. What is important however is the recovery time allowed between them. If the midface procedures are done first, you should wait 3 to 4 months before proceeding with the facelift. However, if the reverse was done with the facelift being first, then you need to wait a good six months before proceeding with the mid face procedures.
