How Can I Reshape My Eyelids?

Q: Dr. Eppley, I have a question about eyes- my eyes look quite round, shallow set and there is scleral show. I would like my eyes to be more hooded and with “straight eyelids” if that make sense. What can be done to achieve this type of eyes? I found on your website examples of supraorbital and infraorbital rim implants with saddle to reduce vertical height of eye socket- do you think those would help to make my eyes more compact and vertically narrow? Would implants improve the canthal tilt? Below I attach the photo of my eyes and eyes which I would like to achieve since photos say more than words plus those examples of rim implants I mentioned. Thank you very much for answer.

A:While I see no attached pictures of you the concept remains the same as you have described…the foundational changes are important to increase bone support above and below the eyelids. In the lower eyelid a canthopexy with a spacer graft is the concomitant procedure to maximize the lower eyelid repositioning effect.
