How Can I Get A Larger Forehead and Wider Head Shape?

Q: Dr. Eppley, i would like to know about temporal implant and skull implants. My goal is a large forehead / skull and heart face shape.

A:What you are seeking is what I call the classic female head widening concept which involves custom fronto-temporal implants as per the attached illustrated implant designs. They come close to the side of the fore head and may to a small degree blend over onto it. Technically what the patients are usually trying to accomplish is to widen the four head but what they really mean is widening the temporal area next to it and have the temporal augmentation blends slightly into the side of the forehead.

But if the objective is frontotemporal widening combined with head widening, as suggested in the back view of your pictures that you provided, then the implant concept is expanded to cover a broader surface area also widen the side of the head as well. (see attached design)
