How Can I Figure Out How To Fix My Vertical Orbital Dystopia?

Q: Dr. Eppley, I have been thinking about getting this looked at for some time. I am missing a tiny bit of bone in my brow bone just under my left eyebrow causing my eye to move freely within its socket (vertical orbital dystopia) as well as having a prominent left brow and what I’d like to do is get an MRI or anything to figure out what I could do to achieve symmetry within my face.

A: I think your right vertical orbital dystopia (VOD) is really part of an overall right facial hypoplasia. But the first place to start is to to get 3D CT scan of your face which will clearly show the location and extent of the right facial bone differences from that of the left side.
