Do You Perform Rib Osteotomy for Waistline Narrowing?

Q: Dr. Eppley, I am interested in the waist narrowing procedure via rib osteotomy. Does Dr. Eppley perform this surgery, of so how many has he performed?

A: I have done hundreds of rib removal surgeries but only a few rib osteotomies as the requests for rib fracture are far less than rib removal due to its more limited effects.
