What Type of Infraorbital and Submalar Implants Do I Need?
Q: Dr. Eppley, Hello, I am interested in infraorbital and submalar facial implants.
A: Thank you for your inquiry and sending your pictures. While you have an infraorbital rim deficiency it is really part of an overall midface deficiency of a few millimeters throughout the entire bone surface area. The question then becomes does one merely address the infraorbital rim-malar area in isolation (custom female IOM implants)
…or approach it from a more global midface perspective (extended IOM implant design to augment the lower paranasal area as well)
