Can A Pseudolipoma Be Reduced By Kybella Injections?

Q: Dr. Eppley,Wondering if the lump on my forehead is a pseudolipoma from trauma and if Kybella would work to help flatten it, or, if another procedure would be more appropriate.

A:I am not sure what a pseudo-lipoma is. But it is more likely, because it has occurred from trauma, of being an osteoma. But whatever the pathology is it is highly unlikely Kybella injections would be effective for its reduction. It is going to require surgical removal.
