What Is The Largest Testicle Implants I Can Get?

Q: Dr. Eppley, I’m sure that this is probably something that most new patients say, but I am interested in getting the largest possible implants. The previous patient I mentioned said that he also had a revision where even larger ones were eventually put in, and I’d be happy to be on that pathway as well. He also had an orchiectomy, and I wonder if it’s common to have that done in order to create space for larger implants?

A: In large custom implant testicular enhancements orchiectomies are not that commonly performed. However, when they are there are three distinct reasons; 1) the existing testicle(s) have ongoing problems such as pain or other medical condition conditions, 2) the scrotum has been previously injected with synthetic materials in which granulomas and scar tissue involve the testicles, or 3) the patient wants to ensure that they have zero chance of being fertile and are willing to have their testicles removed for that assurance.
