Cosmetic Procedures - Thread Lift - After Surgery

After the procedure, tapes will be applied on the face or neck along the lines in which the Threads were placed. These will remain in place for 48 hours after which you may remove them. In removing them, it is important to lift them off in the direction (upward) toward the incision through which they were placed. In other words, NO PULLING DOWN!

For the next several weeks after the procedure, it is important that you avoid pulling down on your face. It is possible to disengage the barbed sutures in the immediate period after the procedure. Also, avoid sleeping on the side of your face for the first few weeks. ANYTHING THAT WOULD CAUSE PULLING DOWN WHERE THE THREADS ARE PLACED SHOULD BE AVOIDED FOR THE FIRST FEW WEEKS AFTER THE PROCEDURE!!
